As a life-long resident of Baton Rouge, Leslie has first-hand knowledge of what our city and area have to offer. Her background in sales and management has given her the tools to help her clients in negotiation on what she considers to be one of their largest financial investments. She knows the home buying process is much more complicated today than when she and her husband purchased their first home. Her aim is to help her clients successfully navigate the system!
Leslie also has a great understanding of family life in Baton Rouge. Her parents, who are retired from the petrochemical industry, have owned three different homes in the area. Leslie's husband, who is on faculty with the LSU School of Music, has lived here for over 35 years and they both have worked with Pat Wattam to purchase three different homes as their family has grown and their needs have changed. She has two children, one a professional actor and the other a student at LSU.
Leslie joined the Pat Wattam Team in the Spring of 2017 with the goal of helping people buy and sell their most important asset - their home. From day one and throughout the process, she spends time educating her clients in order to empower them and take away a lot of the stress! She believes that the more Buyers and Sellers know, the easier it is for them to make the right decision. Understanding the needs and issues facing each client is so important, whether a 1st time home buyer, experienced seller, or a relocating family. Every situation is different. Leslie strives to make the home buying & selling process as seamless as possible and love helping people achieve their real estate goals!
